Two local groups have targeted Alzheimer’s disease for extinction, Alzheimer’s Research Alliance of Oregon and the Alzheimer’s Association, Oregon Trail Chapter.
Carla Rathbun, executive director of the Alliance, said it recently has branched out to seek partnerships with care providers such as Encore Senior Living. She said the group wants to form a sort of catalyst between researchers and caregivers.
