The Executive Committee of our National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC) has welcomed Sue Getman, executive director at Wilmington Senior Center, as the new NISC Chair. Other new leaders include Lynn Fields Harris, Nicole Gorman, and Elizabeth Biggers Barnat.

August is around the corner and that means members of Congress will be in their home districts. Introduce them to the seniors you serve and programs you offer! Since federal funding decisions for next year are still on hold, this is a great chance to educate legislators about investments they can make in key programs.
