  • Renewed employment and self-esteem For nearly 50 years, the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) has helped unemployed, low-income older adults gain skills and training to re-enter the workforce. NCOA is a national SCSEP sponsor, and last year helped 4,600 mature workers find job training and placement.
  • NISC chair travels to Taiwan Carol Reagan, chair of our National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC), was invited to be a keynote speaker at the International Conference of Elder Education and Intergenerational Learning in Taipei, Taiwan. Reagan spoke about innovative programs and services at senior centers throughout the U.S.
