In the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, Encore Senior Village joins the Alzheimer’s Association with the annual Memory Walk, as we fight against this devastating disease. This year’s walk will be on November 6th starting at 7:30am at Reid Park in Tucson.

With more than 5 million people living with Alzheimer’s in the United States and more than 10 million serving as caregivers, we want to do all that we can to support the Alzheimer’s Association as they provide education, support and research. Being impacted by this disease both personally and professionally, I find a great deal of satisfaction knowing that my efforts may help. Because of this, we want to make 2010 our best year yet!

Encore Senior Village has a goal of recruiting 50 or more walkers for our TEAM ENCORE. Would you be interested in joining our team to help raise funds to put an end to Alzheimer’s disease.

Becoming a member of our team for the Memory Walk can enhance your experience and multiply your impact on the fight against Alzheimer’s. Together, as a team, we are a force much greater than what you can accomplish alone. What does this mean? Where do I go from here? Ask your friends, family and others to sponsor you in the walk with mnetary donations. Ask others if they want to be involved and walk with you.
